Nongovernmental organization Slovene Filanthropy opened on 30th of September a new inter-generational house named “Fruits of Society” in the town of Murska Sobota.Present at the opening ceremony as guest of honor was also Mr. Runar Jensen, from the Norwegian Embassy in Ljubljana. Read more

On 31th of March, the agreement between the Stud Farm in Lipica and the Government Office for European Affairs was signed for the establishment of the Lipizzaner Museum. The project’s objective, partly financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism, is to highlight the importance of Lipica and the Lipizzaner horses within the European cultural heritage. Read more

The key aims of the EEA and Norway Grants are to contribute to security and solidarity in Europe. A tangible example of the success of EEA funding can be seen in the establishment of sustainable access to drinking water in parts of the ecologically fragile Komen Karst border region, between Slovenia and Italy.
