The staff at the Norwegian embassy in Ljubljana is currently made up of three Norwegian diplomats, one trainee and three Slovenian nationals. In addition we share our receptionist with the Embassy of Finland and the Embassy of Sweden.

About the Norwegian embassy in Ljubljana

The Norwegian embassy in Ljubljana was established on 1 December 2003. After more than six months in temporary locations, the embassy moved into its current premises in Ajdovscina 4 in the centre of Ljubljana. The embassy is co-located with the Embassy of Sweden and the Embassy of Finland. An official inauguration ceremony took place on 16 September 2004 with the presence of Slovenian Foreign Minister Ivo Vajgl, as well as State Secretaries from Finland, Sweden and Norway. The embassy is currently staffed with three Norwegian diplomats and a trainee and three Slovenian staff.
